Chrome-Ring Piston Kit for the 16 HP Kohler K341 (and K361, M16) This is a standard-bore piston kit with chrome-faced rings, wrist pin, and clips for the 16 HP Kohler K341 single-cylinder engine, sized for the 3.750 inch bore. It replaces Kohler part number 45-874-01-S. Because the piston and rings ship as a matched set, no ring-style measurement is needed. Fitment Fits Kohler K341, K361, and the Magnum M16 in all common suffixes, such as K341A, K341S, K341AS, and K341AQS. It does not fit the smaller K301 (3.375 inch) or K321 (3.5 inch), which use different pistons - match your engine before ordering. Standard Bore and Assembly This kit is for a cylinder at the standard 3.750 inch bore. If the cylinder has been machined oversize, order the matching oversize piston (for example 45-874-04-S for .020 inch). Use a piston ring compressor to seat the rings and torque the connecting rod and head to Kohler specification. This engine is also served by a complete rebuild kit and a cylinder head for a fuller repair.
