Product Description
RFX Pro Series Brake Pedals are designed and tested to the highest level, Pro Series pedals are manufactured from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and with an OEM type, shank, a smooth finish on the shaft reduces wear, coupled with a groove design. Pro series flexible tips are CNC machined billet aluminium and with a spring-loaded rotating tip that rotates under action like in a groove to reduce damage. The tip also features steel tines for better grip when gripping in muddy conditions. Pro series flexible tips also stop on the pivot, this prevents the tip at 90 degree steering range prevent damage that can occur under the clutch kit when the tip rotates. Pro Series brake pedals also have a cable brake snake, this prevents the pedal shaft from bending in a collision. CNC flexible tip to reduce damage caused by shocks, cold forged arm for better core muscles. Start by marking where the height when the pedal tip is in relation to the footpeg. Installation instructions > • Remove the r-clip or split bolt from the back of the brake behind the frame. • Remove the pivot pin with the pedals on the frame. • Can remove the return spring from the pedals and let them hang. • Turn the pedal outwards that the split pin on the back of the pedal clevis • Remove this cotter pin and the dowel, the rear brake will now be removed. • Remove the seals from the old pedal cleanly and re-fit the new pedal. • Clean all parts with a multi-purpose lubricant such as Maxima MPPL, ready for re-installation. • Re-fit the brake clevis head, pin and cotter pin. • Refit the return spring. • Attach some Maxima waterproof grease to the pivot bolt twisting the slots and re-fit the screw. • Adjust the pivot bolts to the desired torque as in the operating instructions. • Refit the r-clip/cotter pin on the back of the pivot bolts. • Now with the pedal, pedal with adjusting the height to the correct sitting position and play freely by loosening the nut via the clevis and the piston bolt leg rests. • Now in the brake snake. • Japanese models remove the lower motor carrier nut and washer, replace the old one with the new washing machine that is attached to the brake snake. • KTM models to remove, new washing machine, which is done by the brake snake, to put this aside as it is not necessary to attach the cable to the lower engine mount and replace the inside crimp mounting on the KTM loop. • Correct tension on the brake snake, to remember to expand for the pedal set. • Crimp the fitting with pliers and shorten cables.
The RFX Pro Series ST Rear Brake Levers are engineered and tested to meet the demands of top-level riders.Crafted from durable 7075-T6 aluminum, these brake levers feature an Factory-style forged shaft with a smooth finish to minimize wear often associated with ridged designs
The CNC-machined flexible tip, made from billet aluminum, is springloaded and rotatable. This innovative design helps reduce damage during impacts, such as in ruts, by allowing the tip to spin. The tip also includes steel teeth for enhanced grip in muddy conditions and a built-in stop that limits rotation to 90 degrees, protecting the lever from further damage
For added protection, the brake levers come equipped with a cable brake snake, which helps prevent the shaft from bending in a collision
Made from 7075 aerospace aluminum construction
