The Dirt Tricks TC-3 timing chain tensioner is designed as a replacement for the oil-pressure-operated OEM tensioner used on supported KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 four-stroke motorcycles. It captures oil pressure and uses a positive mechanical ratcheting system to help prevent the tensioner from collapsing and the timing chain from becoming slack.
